ADULT TRACK CLUB is for people over 18 interested in interval training, running cross-country or competing in track meets. The Castro Valley Track Club meets at 5 p.m. Sunday, Wednesday and Friday at the Canyon Middle School track. For more information, visit www.cvtrackclub.com or call Jim Phillips at (510) 409-9308.

HAYWARD ADULT SCHOOL holds ongoing parent and child classes at the Laurel Center, 2652 Vergil Court, Castro Valley. Sessions include art, songs and play for children, from birth through kindergarten. WALK OR RUN with the Fifty-Plus Fitness Association at 8 a.m. on the second and fourth Sundays of the month at the entrance of Lake Chabot Park, Eastshore Trail, Castro Valley. Call (510) 582-9568 or (510) 795-7928.

SENIOR DINNER offered every Thursday from 4 to 5 p.m. at Eden Medical Center, 20103 Lake Chabot Road, Castro Valley. Enjoy a balanced meal and social connections for $5. Call 537-1234.

NUTRITIOUS SENIOR MEALS are served from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Fairmont Hospital Cafeteria, 15400 Foothill Blvd., San Leandro. The $5 meals are an opportunity to socialize and meet new people. Bingo games will soon be held on the first, second, fourth and fifth Wednesdays. Call (510) 278-2094.

 

THE SENIOR BRIDGE Learning and Social Center meets each Friday at Holy Cross Episcopal Church, 19179 Center St., Castro Valley. Party bridge has special coaching available and starts at 10 a.m. Social noncompetitive-style bridge starts at 10 a.m. Participants are asked to arrive 15 minutes before starting times. FIFTY-PLUS FITNESS Association of Castro Valley holds monthly walks the second and fourth Sundays of each month. There is no charge, and you don't have to be a member of Fifty-Plus Fitness Association to attend. The group meets at 8 a.m., and walks begin at 8:15 a.m. rain or shine at Lake Chabot Park, Eastshore Trail. Wear good running or walking shoes. All levels of ability are welcome. HAYWARD ADULT SCHOOL and the Hayward Area Recreation Department invite the public to join the Older Adult Sewing Class from 1 to 4 p.m. every Tuesday at 22325 N. Third St., Hayward. CASTRO VALLEY SENIOR BRIDGE Group is organizing some veteran bridge buffs to come and play duplicate bridge games beginning at 11:30 a.m. every Saturday at Kenneth Aitken Community Center, 1780 Redwood Road, Castro Valley. The games run for about three hours. Players are requested to bring their own partners and arrive 15 minutes before game time. No reservations are required. Call (510) 881-6738.

PC CLUBHOUSE, a computer users group, welcomes attendees to monthly meetings, held the first Friday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at California State University, Hayward's Mieklejohn Hall, Room 2002. SOROPTIMIST INTERNATIONAL OF THE EAST BAY, the world's largest classified service organization for professional and executive women, meets at 7 p.m. every second Thursday at Strizzi's, 1376 E. 14th St., San Leandro. For more information, call the club phone number: 888-2566.

KIWANIS CLUB of Hayward - Castro Valley meets 7 p.m. every Tuesday for dinner and business at Fong's, 335 Castro Valley Blvd., Castro Valley. Call Gerry Cockrill at 889-5885.

SENIOR RETIREES of Retail Clerks Union Local 870 meet at 10:30 a.m. the second Tuesday of each month at the union hall at 28870 Mission Blvd. The group discusses upcoming trips and participates in social visiting, luncheons and picnics. Call Dolly at 278-0346.

THE MARINA BRIDGE CLUB will feature an ACBL-sanctioned duplicate bridge game with master points awarded. Bridge games are Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Marina Community Center, 15301 Wicks Blvd., San Leandro. One section is open to everyone, and the other will be reserved for non life masters only. The cost is $4 a day. Call 577-3462.

THE MASTER MIND Alliance Success Clubs meets from 7 to 9 p.m. every first Tuesday of the month. Members meet to be involved in ongoing self development, problem solving clinics and brainstorming on achieving and maintaining greater financial security. Call (650) 261-0373

THE BARBERSHOP SINGERS meet at 8 p.m. every Thursday at St. Regis Retirement Center on the corner of Mission Boulevard and Jackson Street in Hayward. No experience is needed. Call 782-0774.
